This bowl was once fired (fired green) for 2
days with Japanese red pine in the mountains
of Nara Japan. It is very nice with the layered
look of the clay, white overslip and finally the
clear overglaze. The clear overglaze on this
piece was right in the path of the fire. It will age
nicely if used and taken care of. In Japan I sell
a number of these as teabowls. I can include a
signed box for an extra fee of 18 $.
